two machine

you mean while they are conected on internet ?do i have to go on line to register finalcut ?
hope this is not dum Q :)

The answer is yes you can but not while on the same network... Say you have a tower running FCP cannected to the network and on your powerbook you've cloned your tower/ work station to.... well if you have airport extreme turned on the second you try and use one serialized copy of FCP on that machine you get an error message and it will not open or work. Turn off airport / get off the network and bam it works.... quick and easy fix but not recommended if your trying to run a legit company.

Ethernet, not the Internet. Yes, you'll have to register it, but you'll just register each machine with the same info, no big deal. The license actually states you can run it on your Tower and Portable, just not at the same time. Pretty standard license.

"not recommended if your trying to run a legit company"

What I mean by this is running a serialized copy under the general license and running on more than 2 machines...
