What's all this spyfest talk about?

I agree, May 1st is going to be tight. I would also vote for a June 1st deadline instead as well. I gotta work Oscars this weekend, and NAB is pretty much gonna wipe out a whole week for a lot of us in April, so . . .

Man, Ralph is gonna be SO pissed. The common-thing-to-prevent-old-stuff this time is "No Women in it".

You're moving fast, msconce! But wow! So am I! I can't believe it! My script is FINISHED! Finished final re-write two nights ago. Actually had TOO MUCH script! Had to really cut it down--it WAS 16 pages!!! Now it's down to 8 pages (the bulk is screen direction anyway). Lead is cast and locked-in. This is THE most prepared I've ever been!

Everytime I think all films should have hot women in them, my girlfriend always says, "Well, what about Kathy Bates in Misery?" Yeah, Kathy Bates is awesome. She's a terrific actress, and she seems to make any film she's in, totally watchable. But then again, what guy didn't enjoy watching D.E.B.S.? Jordana Brewster kissing another awesomely hot chick? Now THAT's entertainment!
 
So any news on the release of the offical rules- I'd love to know what the parameters are - especially if I'm going to enter. I'd hate to have it in the can only to find out the main characters name has to be Gertrude :) .

I'd for one appreciate a deadline of June 1st- that sure would help. :thumbsup:
 
I also agree. This other movie has been taking up 100% of my time, and isn't likely to stop until the end of March. I haven't even actually written a spy script yet (well, I wrote one for Hudson, but none for myself), although it's all in my head, in theory.
