DV Rack 2.0 HD for $199 until March 15

On adobe's website you can purchase the upgrade for $199 if you buy one of the following:

I quote off Adobe's site:

1. Add "qualifying" product to your cart

* Production Studio Premium
* Adobe Premiere Pro
* Adobe Video Bundle

[end quote]

the steps:

go to:

https://store1.adobe.com/cfusion/st...S&view=ols_prod&category=/Applications/DVRack

there is text to tell you about the offer, look for:

Special Offer
Save US$300 when purchased with qualifying product.
See terms.

AND click on the word terms, it'll tell you all about it.

Lucky buggers gettin' it for $199! :-)

Cheers,
Derrick

Too bad all those "qualifying products" already goes for $800-up. The $199 deal is pretty good. I checked the DVRack website and Safe Harbor is indeed an authorized reseller. I'll probably pick this up next month when I get my paycheck.

The SHarbor site indicates the $199 is not for an upgrade. Full version for $199.

Unfortunately, after I ordered they indicated that they were out of stock because of Adobe buying Serious Magic.

So the deal is not a deal.....

Is the part that seems sketchy the vendor? I've dealt with sharbor since way back in my amiga computer days... never had a problem with them.

Me too. I bought my Amiga1200 from Safe Harbor in early 1993. :)

Not the vendor, but rather that anyone would sell a 500.00 product for 200.00 when the manufacturer isn't offering any such deal. Now had B&H offered the same exact deal I'd be more inclined to believe it, yes, however the first thing I'd do is surf on over to Adobe and see if they were offering that deal. 200 bucks would be taking a huge loss. I'm about to buy this very product, so trust me I'd be all for 200 bucks for the full product.

That link is shut down. It might have been a screw up on the distributors part. $199 is too good to be true.
