I sent it in about 3 weeks ago and found it today. They killed the film with the compression but at least it made it on the site. lol

Head over there and post a comment.

anyone interested in seeing the film in it's entirety just head over to the official site: HERE

Was that three weeks after uploading the film or sending it in on DVD? We uploaded one a while back, and haven't seen it on there yet. We mailed a DVD in a few days ago, so we'll see. I just wanted to know if they only uploaded movies that were sent in or not. I'm sure there's more to it, with possibly not being posted due to content or technical issues, but I'm eager to get the film on there and get some feedback from the site.

"maybe you want to jog on over here and take a look at these bills". lol.

good job with the editing on the fight scenes. it stinks the compression is so bad at onthelot.com.

Jay,

That compression is brutal. It's like they decided to only keep every fourth frame.

Still, it's a great film. Good luck with it,

Chris

Oh wow, even though the compression was a bad deal, I remember watching this the first time.

I'm pretty sure you have a chance. The only thing is, you really wanna be on a reality show?

Good luck.

Who cares 'what guy' you are? It's just another avenue for indie filmmakers to shine. I've yet to reach the point in my career where I'm too good to be recognized for my work...as are most people on here.

Yeah I have to agree with that. I'm absolutely no where in the industry so if being on that show can gain me some exposure then I'm willing to gamble.

Hey thanks Brandon! I figured being honest was the best way to set myself from most of the guys that I've seen on there. Not saying that most were dishonest. Most were like: "Yeah, I've been making films for 10 yrs" or "I'm a filmmaking genuis" lol

Jay, just checked it out. Since I've not seen the original yet, I didn't have anything to compare the compression to, but compared to the other films on there it didn't look half bad.

It was great being able to actually see your face ... you got a nice, honest smile & it works well. Looking forward to seeing you in Cabo this year ... should be a BLAST. We'll have to make some kind of little film with our cheap camcorders, lol.

Oh, and I made sure to cut you down in the comments & rate you with just one star ... I mean, this IS a competition, right?! You'll see it under the 'Envision' username, just like here on DVX.

Liking the short. It's a lot better than my second try was.

Not sure if it was intentional, but you crossed the line when the protag. is talking with his mother. It could easilly pass off as intentional, and it might be.
