Really? I did not get the home video vibe. I did get the feeling they were untouched stills, and if that is the case then they are gonna come out amazing, the only one I didn't like is the girl coming up the stairs. The framing just didn't work for me, but the others are amazing in my opinion.:beer:
 
Hmm, well this is great news in a way. Though I just started rewriting (and reshooting) a spyesque story that will have a run time of 20-30 minutes. Soo, great fest, not great timing para mi. I'll have to draft something else for this later. Sounds like it is going to be fun.

Though I still have a fundamental problem, missing the entire DVX deal. haha. Soo, unless I secure one, I will be out my third fest in a row.
 
haha! I'm getting the feeling from this thread that if I don't have hot babes with guns in my short, it won't get watched! You guys are funny. :grin: btw, I really like the stills Rez, looks great!
 
Well, hopefully. I started reading the thread, and got to page 25 then gave up and went to the end. So if that is the case I will be a very happy person. If not, I might just have a DVX by then (hopefully).

But from what I have seen/read so far, it is looking like this will be quite the competition.

Thats good to hear, i liked how some of the airplane one looked , cant remember the name, but some of those shots looked great, so i look foward to seeing this one, just hope it doesnt come off cheasy, but i have confidence in it, thats why i felt to mention that it didnt look up to par of the last one. Not being a dick or trolling, everyone knows me i guess :)

Give us some good stuff pretty please!
 
Hey! You were honest! That's fine! Frankly, there's not enough honest critique here sometimes, and I think that limits us all as growing filmmakers. Thanks for the compliments on "RUNWAY." Looking forward to yours as well, with that cool banner of yours. This time, my SpyFest entry is going to be VERY different from "RUNWAY," and will have a VERY different cinematic look to it. I was only 50% happy with "RUNWAY" (which never had a script). I'm 100% happy with my SpyFest script. Again, this will be my first DVXUSERfest where I actually have a written script going in! So I'm super jazzed about this one!
 
I trust that you are excited about it, i wasnt thrilled by runway, but it looked great from PQ to the camera work itself, aside from the techincal aspect it didnt interest me too much. But it shows you get it when it comes to pointing the light capturing machine! Yours is one of the few i look foward to for sure.

Hah, and the only thing better than hot chicks, is more hot chicks!!!

That is if we are forced to stay SFW
