Help need to export from fcp5 timeline to toshiba hard drive DVD recorder

Hi Guys,

I searched all over the place for this but no answer yet, so I decided to post it here.
I need to export a 2 hour sweet 16th timeline to a brand new toshiba Hard drive DVD recorder via firewire. unfortunetly my mac doesn't recognize the recorder at all, so i have a few questions:

what should be my settings from FCP in order to edit to tape or print to video
and what would be the best way to do this.

your help is greately apreciated.

You've got two options...

1) Just play the timeline out to your camera/deck
2) File - Print to Video... this will ensure highest quality and re-render the audio and any other video that might need to be fully rendered. Plus, you can add slates and/or countdown leader.
