is it possible to have a set price for shops to resell the dvd's?
like if your a shop or business you can buy 10 or 20 dvd's at $10 each then they resell them at $20

and have a set price for singular dvd's at $20 each

i'm not sure whether this would even work. i'm just thinking

I was fortunate enough to be the DP for a documentary entitled, the Oklahoma Heismen. That is what we did and that seems to be the common practice. We had our "cost" price, which is what the stores bought them from us for, and then there was the market price, which we required the stores to sell them for. It was about a 40% markup.

Isn't that called price fixing?

Kind of what the oil companies are doing at the moment.......


But if the big guys are doing it then it makes sense , also that fact thats its fixed at once price means distributors don't have to fight each other for sales.
