Dell 27" for monitoring?

Haven´t checked their site for a while and just saw they offer a new 27" with FullHD, anyone using it for monitoring yet?
How does video look through the component in?
Same dilemma like with the "good old" 24"?
If apple would just bring out the new displays SOON...

PS since the 24" has dropped reasonably in price, I think about getting a second one. Has the 2407 been improved over the 2405?

I just picked up two 2407's for when the new mac's come out. I have a 2405 here that I use with my windows pc...

The difference in the 2407's, IIRC, is that they added HDCP compliance.

It's a nice monitor, but the price is quite high now, the 30 " is cheaper than the 27 " now. Dell had a lot of problem with the 2407. Here is a good review :

Curious if the Dell 27" has the same LCD as this Samsung, 3000:1 contrast also.
