On the set of "24"

overlandfilms I'm not talking about David Cross the guy in his underwear. I'm talking about the old guy on page 6 of this thread with white hair and mustache in your post about the 1/4 shot opposed to the profile shot. You have a Visions in Light credit under it.

Arnold Glassman?

Thanks but don't let distance be a determining factor in whether or not you come out here on us. We just got a 12-person crew back from Mississippi that was there for a week and a half so flying one guest out here from Piedmont Triad is no big deal. But yes, please, when you're in MB, please give us a ring and come on out. You've given us some good target interview people for 2nd Unit and we'll start on them.

We pulled Paolo off El Papel and put him on to 2nd Unit's Part 2 with Rodney. 17,207 downloads since Sunday and great feedback dictates the move so we'll have Part 2 up and running tomorrow. I really didn't realize we had so many fans here at DVUser.net. It's beating DVInfo all to heck with about 1600 e-mail comments to www.2nd-Un it.tv, most answered and 3 or 400 "looksies" but no comments at the 2nd Unit forum on DVInfo. All i can say is Jarred runs a heck of a board here with people with darned good questions and great feedback, good and bad. Maybe we should take Jarred up on his offer of a 2nd Unit site here. What do you all think? Would you populate it with interest?

Just saw the 2nd part of the episode. Again, thought it was great! It's so refreshing that Rodney is such a knowledgeable guy with virtually no ego. He was humble and encouraging. He is able to see each type of technology for its best merits while understanding its limitations.

All you guys at 2nd Unit - congrats on a fine job!

D.C. Thanks to you and all the others for taking the time to give us some feedback. We put so much into each and every show. It's nice to be appreciated.
Thank you ,
Scott

I'll second that. The number of downloads each week is astounding especially compared to the feedback we get on the various formats. I suppose most people only feel comfortable knocking the work so it's great to see people with both good and bad to say about the project coming forward. We need accolades but we also need recommendations. If it wasn't for the 21k downloads each week, we'd wonder if it was of interest to people. So thanks!
