On the set of "24"

OK.

I watched the first Office one.

I'll watch more.

And I won't yell at you too much about the sync issues. 3 shot, sync fine. Closeups on the Gaffer and DP, fine.

Close ups on Jaime....aaaauuuuugggggh. Lips don't match the words.

:)

Nope no sync issues I doubled check. The audio is all on one track. If there was a problem it would be the whole episode.

overlandfilms "Sexy" has been George's nickname forever. It is a great story, ask him next time you see him.

On the set of 24 is running!!

Then the playback is weird on a PC. But only in some spots, as mentioned.

GenJerDan,
Thanks anyway, we would want to know if there were problems. Check out the new "24" episode with Rodney Charters and let us know what you think. I have another thread running for that called "On the set of 24 is running"
Thanks again

This is an Interview with the D.P. of "24" Rodney Charters. Just click on the current episode. Please let me know what you think.
Thanks
Scott

Downloading now. Can't wait!

Just some advice. You should have a BIG link to the video itself within the homepage article. As is, you have a story about the interview but you don't provide a link to the actual interview. Makes people wonder, "Hey, where's this great interview?" :)

Another great episode, I would highly recommend watching this.

Really looking forward to part 2.

Sweet!! Thanks for sharing that, it was great to watch and very informative. Doesn't hurt a bit that it was right there, smack in the middle of CTU...boy I was envious of you while watching. Definitely looking forward to Ep. 2

Thanks!!

Superb! What a nice guy that Rodney is. Very soft spoken and genuinely warm. I thoroughly enjoyed the interview and look forward to part 2. :)

Was that shot last year though?? It said 2006 in the credits.

DC it was shot last week! The delay was we were shooting the dramatic cliff hanger for "El Papel" this last Sunday. So we have been crazy busy.

That's what I thought. You should put 2007 in the credits then. :)

I worked with Rodney on Nash Bridges during the first season with Boomer as our key. Great people.

I have a tech question on these interviews. I can't believe that you would shoot these great sit-downs in profile. Rodney might never say anything about it - he is the very embodiment of "gentleman photographer".

Anyway, even with locked-off cameras, you guys should be able to get into a quarter instead of a profile. They're not flattering for anyone and you simply don't get the eyes you should.

Obviously, lots of care was lavished on lighting this one and the framing should match. You are shooting cinematographers after all!
