He just had to do it. One last "F You" to the football world. Bill Parcells waited until the day after two great teams won their respective conference champtionships and THENNNN announces that he's retiring, stealing all of their thunder so he could be the lead headline. What an egomaniac.

When would you suggest he do it? If he is going to retire, in fairness to the Cowboys, hes got to do it ASAP to give them a chance to find a new head coach. Other teams have already made tons of coaching changes.

And Terry, you're right. I do not like the Cowboys. For reasons that are too numerous to list. But even you have to admit, Jerry Jones looks WEIRD.
Anyway, my beloved Bears are in the Super Bowl. So all is well. Though I have a feeling I might regret telling you my team, as now, if they lose, I will be bludgeoned.

Two Lombardi trophies with the Giants. He brought the then horrible NE PATS to the Superbowl only to admirably lose to a much better Packers team. He brought the really dismal NY JETS to the AFC Championship game in his second year as a head coach. And, he brought the Cowboys to the playoffs at least twice...
Tell me how you can think he is overrated and still live on the same planet as I do?
