Please anyone want me to shoot your script?!

I would like to start off by saying I respect you writers more than you will ever know. I tried the go to starbucks thing and write but I just can't seem to focus, maybe because I don't drink coffee. That is why I am here begging for a script. I would love to make a short or feature film about whatever can be done in los angeles for cheap (under $5000). I am in no position to make demands but I wanted to start with something other than a romantic comedy. I have limited experience shooting and directing, but I have determination and determination.

I am a certified Final Cut Pro editor with my own editing equipment so I will be able to handle that part. What I need is a script. I would love to make something that is fun and shocking like "kids" or crazy and funny like "Dude wheres my car".

I also have a couple ideas for movies that could develop into something. I am not asking anyone to write anything for me, but if you happen to have a decent script laying around then I will happily use it for you. We can discuss credit and compensation when the time comes.

Each month we hold a short script competition. The first contest's theme is "Two People and One Room" (perfect for low budget filmming). Once the voting is over, you can search for scripts based on genre, cast size, contest score, etc.

I'm hoping filmmakers will find it a good site for connecting with screenwriters.

Nik, I've got several scripts for shorts that might work for you, but they're not comedies. One script for a spoof feature that I'm currently writing is called "Vampire Chicks From Uranus". I've got a short (10-12 minutes) set in an upscale retirement community. Kind of a Seinfeld's parents meet "Arrested Development." I've dreamed of shooting it myself, but that isn't going to happen for a while. Let me know if you're interested.

I have a short comedy entitled Paper Jam that takes place in an office. About a new guy's first day on the job and how everything is going wrong. It would be something you could make for under $5000. I'd be happy to send it to you if you are interested.
 
thanks everyone for the scripts that you sent. So far I believe I will be shooting a script that chapelgrovefilms sent me about to girls that are stranded on a highway at night and are helped by a stranger. Then s### hits the fan.
