Air Force One

It was on TNT last night. I watched it even though I've seen it a bunch of times. I just love the film. Harrison Ford is awesome (even though the role was originally written for Kevin Costner, which wouldn't have been good IMO) and Gary Oldman exudes creepyness in the film. I love the line "Get off my plane". One of my favorite quotes from a film from the last 10 or so years. I always enjoy watching the film, and found out recently a lot of it was shot in Ohio, at Case Western Reserve University, Rickenbacker Airport in Columbus, and the prison is the same used in Shawshank Redemption which is in Mansfield. Anyone else enjoy the film?

Terrible effects. Weak premise.

Harsh. No love for "Get off my plane!"?

I dig it man... classic couple hours of fun right there. Hard to go wrong with Ford.

And, yes, it would have sucked ass if the part had gone to Costner

It was an entertaining popcorn movie. Not something you want to think much about, though.

That could be said about ANY movie, except perhaps No Way Out and Bull Durham.

Far too many gaping plot holes, not made up for by the action sequences and mediocre effects.

It's a fun film though

The last Harrison vehicle that was (Okay; I liked 6 Days and 7 Nights and What Lies Beneath)

and Oldman is wonderful in it

Harmless popcorn !
