PS Technik Adapter footage intercut with Stock Lens?

I may be in a spot where my pick-up/reshoot day may not include the PS lens adapter we originally shot with. Shooting 1080p on the HVX (1080i at 24PA), how well/poorly will lens adpater footage and stock lens footage cut together (in the same scene, and in separate scenes), apart from the apparent change in DOF?

the P&S footage will look softer, and the highlights will be more compressed.

Shoot with a higher Master pedestal, like 0 or -1. this way you will help to preserve some detail in the shadows cause you will want to under expose about half to 1 stop. Soften the footage, and adjust the gamma curve until they kind of match.

There will be a significant difference if they are intercut in the same scene, like a reveral or soemthing. the problem isnt the resolution or the DOF, its the way the GG changes how the chroma, and luma are distributed across the sensor. it will be like trying to cut stock fottage into a scene. different camera, distrubutes the picture info differently than eachohter. the 35 adpter makes you camera into a "different" camera.
