Hi:
If you check this B&H website, you will find many solutions for mounting wireless mic receivers to small camcorders. These brackets usually mount to the bottom of the camera via the tripod screw.

Check out the following urls. When I need to attach my lectrosonic receivers to my HVX these are what I use. The bracket does not specify the HVX but it works without any problems. The second link is for the box that holds the receiver. it's the one I use. If you have a smaller receiver you may need a different version. B&H has a few different sizes. I don't use these that often because of the weight the receiver adds to the camera. Typically my receivers are kept with my external mixer in a Porta Brace bag. I hope these urls help.

I use velcro. I have an Azden, the receiver is small lightweight box, no problems. stick it wherever you want.

I walked into a large camera store, (local), and found this 4" tripod that screws into the top of the HVX. With it's legs closed it makes a perfect flat surface and can be angled in any direction.
We put Industrial Velcro on the fat middle leg and this holds our Sennhieser AND Lectrisonics recievers stacked to each other.
Great for tripod or hand held shooting and looks good too.
Try a big Camera store. I also got a few nifty other contraptions to hold most anything on the HVX.
