Anyone tried the indiSlider

I remeber Jared used something similar on Art History. I thought about DIY'ng one...but i'm lazy and don't have the time or stamina. This looks like a darn nice substitue.

I don't know, it doesn't have much of slide, and I don't see and cushiones at the ends
and most importantly, it doesn't look like I could mount my high quality fluid head on it.

I've used the pro version, which is extremely expensive, but it is a very nice tool to have for gigs where a lot of setups are required with movement on camera. It can really speed up the day.

Thanks for the info Icarus! So the pro version has more than 36inch of slide? I did not consider the fluid head mount position.

Icarus- do you have any sample footage you can show us? I'm currious to see what people have shot with a device like this- it looks like it could yield some slick looking shots, but what makes it different from a dolly in terms of camera movement?
