oh and BTW, Unbreakable is my favorite easily by far a mile, landslide ETC ETC ETC>

me and my friend were talking about him a few nights ago and his movies can be really put in order for me or him. Like this is his best, then this one then this one and so on. Simply because they are all different and unique from eachother while maintaining his vision and feel. Hes more than just a fancy twist ya know?

I liked Unbreakable quite a bit too.

PS. Crap... I didn't insert a joke in this reply.

It was supposed to be "underminded".

It's when you think that you've said something witty and funny or did something witty and someone else comes back at you with a blatantly open ended remark that shuts you up.

Take for example, the kid who shot one picture of himself every day for like three years.

And the guy who shot one picture of himself for two days and looped those two pictures n YouTube for like five minutes.

That second guy has just as many views as the first. Underminded.

The Lady in the Water...hmmm. For me it wasn't as good as his others but I didn't think it was terrible either. I watched it and didn't feel I wasted my time. On the other hand, I may not watch it again for a long time with so many other movies to see.

Okay I watched Lady in the Water this past weekend, home-theater projector surround-sound style and at the end I was happy I didn't see it in the theater.

It felt like the movie, as beautiful as it was, should've been playing on a home-television. Not even home-theater. I dunno HOW this effects my feeling about the movie as itself, but I think I would've been a bit more pleased with it on a regular television.

Weird, huh?

obviously, you're not a golfer.

I didn't get this either. I'm definitely not a golfer. For some reason his rude comment seemed to remind me of a few friends in high school who just liked to pick fights for no reason. Oh, well.

Oh, dang. So, your rude comment on someone's opinion was... ?

Wait, who's the rude one? Zak or I? Or are we like a rude team?

this seems like an odd match to me. not me and kholi, i'm talking about m. night and avatar. when i spoke to him on the set of lady in the water he said the next project was going to be sci-fi. that's all he said. that's all he would tell anybody. i imagine that in the wake of lady in the water's poor box office, he's set that aside to concentrate on something that will easily keep blinding edge pictures in a good place financially. the people that work there are very close, like a little family, and i know he feels a responsibility to them.

It's an odd match, indeed. I know there's all this hub-n-bub about him being into children's movies and the like, but AVATAR? The wanna-be american anime? That sounds more like a Rodriguez venture, not Shamayalan.

Those who've seen the show or at least read up on it after this news/rumor/whatever should be able to garner that much. Then again, I guess whatever puts the money where it needs to be.

It still won't get me to invest another hour into that half-assed show. It's sooo dumbed down for American Audiences. They just don't get it: Anime succeeds on an intellectual level. One that goes beyond neato water-air-bending-magic crap. I mean, even Naruto is STILL quite deep in it's devices. And anime like Paranoia Agent, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Wolf's Rain (to name only a very few) are very engaging and thought-provoking.

BAH.

These guys must really like each other to back each other up so much.

Or you could be taking it too seriously, and we're just having fun. I don't even know Forsmand.

I heard he stole my Mojo, which is why I sit on my ass all day at work and read camera forums the entire time.

Saying -- "You've got to be kidding" is a far reach from the sarcasm I got from stating an opinion which some other people clearly share. His opinion is as important as mine but I thought he should let the person I responded to answer for themselves rather than interfere which you clearly love to do as well.

We disagree on some things and that's that. No biggie!
