Faceoff

HAHAHA! Yeah... I'll admit... when Cage was frustrated that his wife was freaked by him and he started crying... I got misty eyed... Just because I knew how bad he felt... how lost he felt at that moment...

Brandon, we need to send you to bootcamp for a few weeks, you don't get misty-eyed over Face/Off. :zombie_smiley:

Naw, see... that's what is so cool... I can be tough, and sensitive at the same time... let sensitive Bricey come out... eh? See... when I watch movies I always want to let go of myself... it doesn't matter what it is... I want the movie experience to make me feel a certain way... whether that's to laugh, cry, get mad, etc. I want the movie to evoke emotions... so I put myself in a state of mind where my emotions are free to move easily... that may be why I enjoy movies so much, where others don't because they don't allow themselves to be free...

Misty eyed? I cried towards the end of Kill Bill Vol. 2 when she watches the movie with her daughter... (Nobody else found that sad... but I did...)

I also cried at the end of Click...

Yes, I am a cry baby... =)

I don't like the idea of letting myself go for just any movie. A movie has to earn a response from you, otherwise you won't have a barometer for when something is good or bad. Everything just becomes good.

What happens when a really great and moving film comes on? Do you wet the bed? (Kidding)

haha not everything... some things just DON'T work... but I do like letting myself go, because the movie experience deserves it.... Obviously if the filmmaker doesn't get me INTO the characters and story... I won't feel a thing...

I can't see why people didnt get teary eyed when she saw her daughter though... It was so... sad... And come on... Click... god that was sad... When he rolls over on the white bed in Bed Bath & Beyond I was like, "YEEEESS!!!"

Click was an enormous pile of crap. And I'm a big fan of both Walken and Sandler. Doesn't change the fact.

Click was not nearly as annoying as I thought it would be.

However...it should have ended in the street, in the rain. It would have been 2000% better just by stopping there.

Click would've been a lot better if he had twisted his car around a light pole on his way to the electronics store. And died.

last time I remember feeling the throat was The Notebook when Gena Rowlands falls back into Alzheimers and starts freaking out on James Gardner; now that is tough too take

Man that was a moment for sure.

Oh face off, its ok. Wont go down in history as anything special but worth the one watch.

I cried... laughing at this thread.

Face Off was fun. I particularly like the "over the rainbow" scene. That's pretty much the only thing that stands out to me in the movie.

Oh, and I also like when Jay-Z references this movie in one of his "raps".

That is all.

i thought what was really great about this film was that not only did the cage character get Travolta's face, but he got his paunch and shrunk 3 inches too. What fx?
