Where did all of those actors go to school?

My favorite actors and writers are those of the Monty Python Troop, and I know they all attended the Footlight club in England, which is probably where they obtained all of their talent. I was looking for various other similar clubs or schools in the US that a lot of great actors attended.

Easy for me to remember because I grew up going to Second City. Improv=the crucible of fire. But you're right--the raw talent was inside the best--it just had to be formed and shaped in the right environment.

Second City in Chicago specifically is where most of the SNL recruiters go to scout talent. Chris Farley, Tim Meadows, Tracy Morgan, etc.
