Anyone tried to Britek fluorescent?

I would be very slow to buy any flo's from a retailer who does not publish the CRI rating of the bulbs it sells, as this is critical to determining the suitability of the lights for video work. I emailed one well-known seller of these standard screw-in flo's and found that the CRI for their bulbs was well below that recommended for video lighting. Don't know if this is true for Britek because I couldn't fine CRIs on their website.

Definitely review these fixtures for us after you operate them for more than twenty hours or so. I'm curious to see if Britek is able to build any continuous fixture that actually works.

Maybe lower temperature conditions will compliment their "mastery" of all things electrical.

PERFECT! LOL

Hehe. Ahhh, Britek. I would like to know if the fixtures themselves hold up. Although I'd rather get the fixture for cheaper and use my own bulbs. Don't want 6400k.

Except for the brand itself and obvious questions over CRI, these seem like a brilliant concept for situations where low-heat, low-draw interview style lighting is on order.

Of course, if I could build these with the same functionality for the same price as a Britek, it would still be a better to build my own given Britek's reputation.

One look at the "about Britek" page tells a great deal about the quality of their wares and generally how they conduct themselves in business - the entire content of their corporate identity page is centered on how they will (or mostly won't) stand behind their products.
