FCP and Quicktime aspect ratio do not agree

I'm using Final Cut Pro 4.5 HD and I am capturing footage shot on the DVX100A in 24p, 4:3. All of a sudden it seems that FCP thinks that everything it is capturing from tapes shot on the DVX is at 853 x 480 pixels. That is how the captured Quicktime files are displayed in Quicktime. When viewed in FCP they look fine, but I'm worried because this has never been the case with the master clips.

Thanks in advance for anyone who has any insight! I just can't seem to figure out what has happened here. I've captured thousands of hours of footage before no problem...
 
Go to the clip in the Browser, right click on the clip, go to Item Properities, Format, post a screen shot.
