Need A Video Off Of Youtube!

PLEASE. Don't worry about me breaking any copyrights, it's MY video. What I'm doing is working on a DVD on old stuff I've done to give to someone for Christmas (Don't ask why) And this film is one of them. I don't have it ANYWHERE else. If you're wondering why it's under 'Bretony', it's cause Bretony is my girlfriend, But me being in the video should be enough (Since everybody on this site is so moral).

I need it in AVI, WMV, MPEG, you know, any of the common formats (Preff WMV) so that I can import and edit it. I tried going to THIS site:
http://keepvid.com/
Where it takes your URL, gives it to you in FLV format and then I convert it to WMV with Replay Converter. But it must not be real WMV, because nothing that I convert with this converter imports into Premiere. Premiere just sits as if it's GOING to import with the status bar, but it stays there...FOREVER!!!

If you're able to get this file, PLEASE send it to me ASAP. On
Yahoo Instant Messenger: JAIEILLA
or E-mail: JaieIlla@Yahoo.com

THANK YOU!!!

NO...I was decieved. It DIDN'T work. I NEED SOMEONE TO GET THIS VIDEO FOR ME PLEASE!!! t's getting CLOSER and CLOSER to CHRISTMAS!

I tried to download but as I have dialup and have to go to the j-o-b I don't have time. Use Vdownloader Paste your link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mvnx__mX7MQ in the URL field, click download. Change the size from default 320x240 to 640x480 and press OK. It should default to AVI file which will import into Premiere with no problem. This program will work, as I started download but only got to 6% before I now have to scat to work. I have downloaded several videos off youtube so I know this program works.

This looks too good to be true. It's downloading now. I'll be back with you with the results.

didn't work. It plays on WMP but it won't import into premeire. I read all the comments on the dloader page and I'm going to try it with the vid @ it's default size.

WHY would you want to convert into .WMV codec? Not only will it make the import into Premiere a pain, but it will present some image degredation. You can never go wrong with an .AVI.

ok, here's the stauts. I'm using this converter right now. I've tried:

AVI orginal size (320x240)
MPEG original size

And they BOTH played fast. Like, the video ZOOMS through, but the audio stays on point.

So NOW I'm trying AVI edited fram size (What the guy suggested I do earlier) and see what happens. If not, THEN I'm goign to try MPEG edited.

Not true. It only give your the .FLV file. I never had a problem getting the FLV, I need it converted so that I can play, edit and export it in Premiere. If you could send it to me in AVI, that'd be GREAT!

Sorry. Never followed the link. I figured it converted live, didnt know it linked to a prog.

Man, I know I came across a live web converter once, just cant remember where.

Alright, I have your video in 3 formats:

Original FLV @ 320x240, 25fps

MPEG-2 @ 320x240, 29.97fps

MPEG-2 @ 640x480, 29.97fps

Do you want these files?

The video and audio seem fine for what it is. I'm about to convert to an AVI wrapper but do you have any special codec requirements?

The AVI codec you have been using might be what is giving you problems with your NLE. The other problem might be the frame rate. I converted the original 25fps to 29.97fps so as to not confuse your assumed NTSC NLE into thinking it is dealing with non-compliant PAL footage.

Actually, I recommend this:

Download the 30-day evaluation version of MPEG Video Wizard DVD.

http://www.womble.com/products/dvd.html

It's a damn good little MPEG editor. Edit your video in MPEG form then export to whatever you like.

Let me know if I can help any further.

Well, I haven't heard back so I exported an AVI MPEG-4 (it might be the XviD codec or something). I'll also create a Windows Media Video file. Hopefully, at least one of these will work for you.
