I'm about to shoot a commercial for a local Russian TV station in NY/NJ.
I'd like to know a couple of things:

1 - what kinds of releases do i need signed and by whom?
2 - what standards do i need to abide by (audio/video signal levels, etc)
3 - Does the tv channel need to provide me with any releases or other paperwork or is this commercial going to be the property of the business that it advertises, and hence once i'm dong shooting it doesnt concern me?

the business in question is owned by my sister so an info on the business's side of it would also be appreciated

thanks!

no one can answer this?? i've searched the threads and i found some info but it's not enough .. anyone? anyone?

Hi

-what releases you need i guess would depend on what type of content you are creating ? (your use of music, actors, stock material etc, script clearance etc)

-boradcast standards, talk to the network about this, as they will be airing it, also most pro editors know how to output to tape for proper audio/video broadcast signals

-station will provide you with a bill :) and an airtime schedule

hope that helps a little.
