Varicam = CMOS? Is that accurate

[Kholi]

Anyone want to confirm this? I dunno much about Varicams. Someone just told me that Varicam's have CMOS sensor(s)?

[William_Robinette]

i am 99% sure it is CCD

[Kholi]

I could've SWORN they were 2/3" CCDs... This guy just told me and swore by it that the Varicam is CMOS.

[Isaac_Brody]

It is 2/3" 3 CCD. That guy's wrong.

[David Jimerson]

CCDs. But I suggest you make a little wager before you direct him to the Panasonic website.
