What should be in a 1st AC's toolbox?

a 1st AC should have:

Measuring tape
Markers (dry erase) (perm)
Pens
extra Batteries (AA AAA 9Volt etc)
video connectors
velcro
gaffer's tape
orange wood sticks
compressed air
lens cleaner and tissues


anything else is extra. I personally usually just show up with a pencil. All I need to do Focus. Anything else I'd need, thats what the 2nd AC is for...but don't have that mantality
 
This also depends on the camera the DP/orerator will be using. In addition to the above......
Ground Glass puller
Scorpion Flash light
Insert slate
camera tape
focus marking tape
multitool
miniature screw drivers
allen/hex key set
magnets
always, always carry extra tripod screws..1/4 20's and 3/8's
6-in 1 screw driver-(see filmtools.com)
filter wrench
soft lens cleaning cloth( microfiber)

Did I misunderstand...? I thought he wanted to know about what tools to carry as an AC not a PA....Hopefully, he knows these ground rules already.
Good to know if you want to PA though..
 
dont forget a leatherman. that is SUPER useful.

also if youre outside wear thoes finger hideable mitten/gloves so you can touch with your fingers, but cover up as needed.
