is there a worse marketing campaign right now than PS3?

see most halo players dont play it for the story they play it for the multiplayer... whats gonna be interesting is halo 3 is suppose to be like the old war craft games and no longer a FPS....

i don't think that's true. Although multi-player is huge with the "nerd" population, you'll still find that a higher percentage play Halo for the storyline. Those people just aren't as vociferous about their enjoyment of the game (so you don't hear as much from them).

I kind of enjoy multiplayer, as it brings a sort of randomness to the play. Unlike the simple, predictible AI, people think (sometimes),making game play more realistic.

And I ain't exactly a nerd...

Spidey, you're only half-right.

Halo 3 is going to be more FPS than ever. I personally know that me and my friends will be playing Halo 3 for both the story (The Return Of the Jedi of the Halo series) AND the multiplayer.

However, a division of Bungie will be making Halo Wars, a Real Time Strategy game like you said the WarCraft games were.

AND, to get back on subject...

I think it's funny that everyone knows the commercials they hate, i.e. Sublymonal, PS3, GoW (It's so anti-Gow, they should have used game footy).

I got my hands on 3 PS3's and sold them on ebay for a small fortune. I don't know what all the hype is about. After playing it for 20 minutes i put it down and sold mine too. I hade too much fun playing Wii. ANyways Bungie has been putting alot of effort into halo3 i highly doubt they'll let the fans down with this one.
