I'm compiling a list of fake commercials in TV shows and Movies.

Not much right now, but off the top of my head:

Plow King/Mr. Plow commercials from the “Mr. Plow” episode of the Simpsons

Rodney Dangerfield as Thornton Melon in a “Thornton’s Tall & Fat Store” commercial in “Back to School”

Peter from Family Guy in commercial for “Wilkins Hyundai and Subaru” in “Patriot Games” episode.

Any others?

Some others I thought of...

Rekall, Inc
Spacely Sprockets & Cogswell Cogs

McDowells & Soul Glo (from Coming to America)
Monsters Inc.
Bixby Snyder Show
(I'd buy that for a dollar!)
The Running Man (The Games Federation)

Edited to Add:
Al's Toy Barn

- In Zoolander (still a funny movie) Ben Stiller is in a commercial for Aveda where he portrays a mermaid. Wait, make that "MERMAN!" :)

- Isn't there a commercial for the memory erasing service in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind? There is on the DVD.

- Ghostbusters! (That's an easy one.)

- SNL has A LOT of commercials. Do those count?

uh oh... i smell an "OFFICIAL CALLAGHANFILMS LIST" coming up

Top of my head:

Kentucky Fried Movie has a ton of fake commercials.

Wacky, waving, inflatable arm flailing tube man from Family Guy I saw most recently. I think Family Guy is loaded with those things.

Robocop had at least one, I think a couple; as well as other Paul Verhoeven movies (Starship Troopers, etc).

What is the purpose of this list anyways?

Vapoorizer from Envy I always enjoyed... and Pocket Flaun from the same movie... the movie sucked overall but i enjoyed those little ads

I believe Devils Rejects had at least two. Mary the monkey, and Spaulding Christmas. I seem to remember there being some commecials in Minority Report as did Total Recall I belive.

Thank you. I've been hearing "I'll buy that for a dollar" for umpteen years and hadn't a clue where it came from.
