Hi anthony jackson,

The setup you mentioned is one of the finest solutions in 35mm adapters. It will give you the benefit of 35mm DOF (depth of field) since you will have the ability shooting with 35mm SLR lenses, if this is what you are asking. I also own FX1 (E) and I find also crusial for the final desired look the ability to shoot CF25 and customize sharpenning ang color level.
Consider also Cinevate Brevis, an adapter I am starting to realy like/prefer for the ability to choose Ground Glass for diferent needs and for beeing more user friendly.

hope this helps
Andreas

hi anthony
i have the exact setup you described. fx1 m2 eos (wish i had the fx1E)
I love it. i have a friend that lent me the brevis for a while so i've used it too. It is equally great but different. Both have different ground glasses for different looks or situations. M2 has 2 and the brevis 3. (www.cinevate.com) or (www.redrockmicro.com) Take a look at both of them and decide depending on the style of shooting u do.

pm for footage

for the brevis or m2 it is better to get the HD bundle. you get a better picture. i could see the difference. The HD achromat, 72mm vs. SD 55mm. im my opinion its worth it. But you can still get the sd to save money. it wont kill you.

I look at the M2 bundle HD edition for the Nikon lenses,
Tell me in this bundle, will everything that I need be there to get started, I know I will have to buy lenses separate.
or will I have to buy shims ?
