Actors Who Turn You On/Off To a Film

[jpeck]

Discreprency? Not at all. If Owen Wilson is pulling off the humor from films like Royal Tenebaums or Zoolander, I find him hilarious. But he is going for big buck projects now, instead of off beat humor, and I will skip those films.

Jackson, I only liked in Pulp Fiction.
Spacey, I only liked in Se7en and LA Confidential.

Ever see Robin Williams in "The Final Cut"? He does a good job, and the movie is great.

Williams has probably done five or six great films, but for every good film he does he does five HORRIBLE films (RV, Flubber, Man of the Year, Bicentinnial Man, Patch Adams, Jumanji, Night at the Museum, etc.) I really think he is a top-notch blue chip actor which is why I'm always astounded by the crap he does. Maybe it's the drug habit he's been battling for much of his life...

Just a few quickies...

Will see:

Djimon Honsou - for some reason I want to see everything he's in
DiCaprio (sans Titanic)
Depp

Refusal:

Jessica Simpson - someone in Hollywood made a huge mistake
