OK, so here are the details, fine print, and all that jazz:

Shooting / Submission Period: November 27th-December 6th at 11:59PM EST.
Voting: 12.07-12.10 at 11:59PM
Topic: "Caution: Wide Load"
Details: This week we are going to build off the 'Rule of Thirds' challenge and shoot landscapes at wide angles. Obviously the masters like Ansel Adams were proficient, and we have seen tons of winners in our contests of people shooting landscapes such as:

so let's get creative and see what we can come up with.
Submit your image, and ONLY THE FINAL ENTRY as Username_Landscape.jpg

MISC. DETAILS:
1. There is no original picture required to be submitted
2. You may submit a maximum of 3 entries for this round
3. Voting criteria will be 1. Overall Impression of Image

The widest lens I have is 36mm :(
There is something I think I can 'pull off', though.
I wish this one of the before/after contest 'cos I'm going beyond photoshop for this one :)
 
Doesn't matter what the mm is... You can do a wide angle with a 210mm... it would just have to be really far away :)
 
I have 4 lenses, an 18-55 zoom and 3 primes (35, 50, and 85). I don't like the quality on the zoom though, so I will see if I can find something to shoot with the 35.

You know when I saw that Caution: Wide Load was the topic, I thought you were going to ask us to shoot...uh...nevermind. Maybe you should have titled the contest -- Landscape Got Back! :evil:

Hey, it's not that easy trying to come up with original titles every single week (hence look at round 15)
 
i hope to have something complete, its been a busy week (had a band photoshoot in a different city over the weekend)
 
People, I understand that you are all excited to upload your pictures, but before do that, please name your pictures (OK, cmessino is not excited because he name's them).

Right now in the directory there are 4 pics with no clue to whom they belong each.

DSC_0131.jpg from a Nikon D200 ( Zim? )
DSC_0151.jpg from a Nikon D200

DSC_1869.jpg from a Nikon D70s

IMG_8123.jpg from a Canon 30D ( I believe this one didn't make in time for previous contest )

numbers.jpg in B&W ( for next contest? )

Now here is the expected naming of the file so I don't have to play Inspector Cluzo:

username_contestname.jpg
i.e.: steve_arm_landscape.jpg

For more than one images for the same contest add a incrimental number after contest name.

So users that have uploaded so far just PM me which is yours, so you don't have to upload again.

I say disqualify them all (except for that cmessineo guy - he must be a genius). :)

where do you name the pictures at. I go to the upload site. Find the file and click upload. Then thats it. I must be overlooking a step
