I don't mean to bash. Birns and Sawyer in LA have a great location and their rentals department has always been good if not pricey. Their Genral manager really knows what’s up and is also helpful...
but the 2 front sales people have got to be replaced. I wanted to spend some money not sure if I wanted to by the Marshall monitor or some thing else.
1. I go in there asking if the sales guy had anything New or Cool for me to buy...he said "There’s nothing New or Cool about this job." and went back to his desk..
2. I was looking at the marshal I herd him talking and I turned to him and he said "oh your just a customer" and he turned his back and walked off! he must have mistaking me for someone more important that he was talking to.
3. when he opened up the curtain for the Display room that has the Canon, Jvc, and Panasonic cameras he uttered out loud " I wish they would get rid of this worthless junk."
I understand that he doesn’t make much commission off of a 2k monitor I wanted to buy or even a under 10k camera but does that mean I should be treaded less as a customer.
So instead I drove well out of my way up to Able Cine. there’s no wonder Sony won't let B&S sell there cameras...
