It's the most wonderful time of the year!

I couldn't tell you what day groundhog's day is. And seeing as I live in florida, how long winter lasts doesn't really affect me.

I am not an xmas time cheerball. Either I stay at home and be bored off my ass because all my friends are hanging out with their families, or I pay several hundred dollars to listen to my nieces and nephews hoot and holler and make a headache-inciting ruckus 14 hours a day. All the while trying to make sure I don't get TOO drunk and tell someone to go F themselves!

Don't even get me STARTED on new years. New years will probably suck ass the most for me this year seeing as how its the first time in nearly 7 years I'll be single for new years. (Unless some miracle happens in the next 4 weeks)

Bring on January damnit.

A Sunday school teacher asks her kindergarten class if anyone can explain the importance of Easter.

One kid raises his hand, and says, "Easter is when baby Jesus was lying in the manger and the Three Wise Men brought him presents."

The teacher says, "No, Tommy, that's Christmas."

A second boy raises his hand, and says, "Easter is when the Indians and Pilgims sat down together and ate turkey."

The teacher says, "No, Bobby, that's Thanksgiving."

A little girl raises her hand and says, "Easter is after Jesus was crucified..."

The teacher says, "And?"

"...and they put his body in the cave..."

"And?"

"...and the next day they rolled the stone aside..."

"And?"

"...and if Jesus can see his shadow, that means there will be six more weeks of winter."

What the heck is wrong here.....

So Cal is having ice and Brandon Rice is seeing his breath (see page 1-2)

Im in NYC and wearing shorts....its freaking 60 degrees out today!
I have been having a rather difficult time this year getting into christmas spirits just based on the fact that it hasnt been cold yet. As a child, I related xmas, snow and cold altogether, as I did grow up in NY....it just doesnt feel right without it....

Hey Lucidz.... tell us how you really feel :)

Just kidding, dont worry bro...youll find another woman to keep you cheerful. You may want to act a little bit happier though just incase you meet her in the next 4 weeks. Chicks dig happy......or rich. Either way..

I thought so. Another Harold Ramis fan?

And Lucidz is pretty mad o'bout the holidays. I have to say, I'm not much of a holiday guy myself. But, no bad stories. Just never get in the X-Mas spirit.

Man the last five years I would travel to see my family in Noosa. Noosa is a sunny little place north of Brisbane in Australia. Conversion calculation coming up: On average Id say it been about 35c every year - thats roughly 95F. Now in Tokyo we are averaging nightime temps of around 5c or 41f by xmas I will be frozen and wondering why I didnt go home again this year.

Todays inane fact No.1 .... at -40c and -40f its the same temperature.
