Audio Technica in Europe

Hi guys!

I'm kind of interested in the Audio Technica AT4073a shotgun, but I've probably looked all over the internet and couldn't find a single shop around here that sells it. Does anybody know a shop that does? Maybe the UK or Germany or something?

Thanks in advance!

P.S. I'm not going to buy this one yet though, just doing some research ;)

Ferdi - the audio technica has few regions of marketing , check the european region , you will definitely find the distributor , but , i dont sure you will be able get good price for these , they are marketing everything in euro what bring their prices about 30% over what you get in the states so even with local tax and shipping from USA , you would get much better price in LA .
the european distributors , you can find here

Thanks shawn, that looks nice, but I just found a cheaper shop. However, I'm really unfamiliar with this shop and don't know their quality: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?A=details&Q=&is=REG&O=productlist&sku=68317

the location sound is one of the most reputate places to buy a gear , not to mention they would know exactly what are you talking about if you have questions .
not tomention that some people bought that mic for 500US in that place .
the band h never was the cheapest place m not they dont have exellent customer service .
you can also check with coffeysound in LA OR GOTHAMSOUND IN NY
Usually you will get good price and support
not to mention they are much flexible whith what you like get written on the packeg and the methods of shipment

Location Sound is actually cheaper than B&H on the 4073a, you just have to call or email to get a quote. A lot of people on this board actually recommend against buying anything from B&H... do a search if you're curious.

i dont say not to buy from b@h , but for some product its better deal with others ,
b@h have exellent customer support what still make them n-1 in video and photo and frankly they are the only one in video business that i relay from 8000km :-), but they are not the cheapest one and not really educated in audio to much .so yes if you know exactly what do you like ir works , if you dont or need extra assistance , the other 3 i did mention are much ,much friendly .

I'm a little confused :) You say that I can get a quote there? What kind of quote is that? Because the AT4073a is currently $850 there.
I'm sorry, but I'm unfamiliar with Location Sound.

the 850 is a list price
there are more people dont familiar with you then with the location sound :-)

Sorry Oleg, we were writing our posts at the same time; I wasn't referring to you with my comment. I've only bought from them once, and didn't have an issue personally, but others on this board seem to have had poor expereinces with them.

Thanks for the help, everybody. I really appreciate it. I just received an email that I can indeed get it for $499,- at locationsound.com! That's great. Now all that remains is to figure out how to actually order it. :)

Just email back the rep that sent you the quote asking them to go ahead and process the order. They should have included a phone number too.
