There was one thread about SAGIndie before but it's been awhile and I thought maybe people have had more experience with the "ultra-low budget" contract.
I understand the basics of the agreement ($100/day+pension, giving them a bond up front, etc.) but I don't get how dealing with sag would affect my project on a day-to-day basis. I want to shoot for about 10 days, but it's going to be spread out over a period of 6 weeks due to scheduling and location issues. Does that complicate the relationship I'd have to have with sagindie? Is it generally a case of "as long as they get the Exhibit G and the weekly checks, they don't care"?
If anyone has experience working with this agreement please let me know of any complications. I'm going to attend the sagindie workshop in December and will be sure to bring them up if they're not addressed by the speakers.
Thanks,
Steve
