Round 12 - DVXUser Photography Contest - 11.22.06

Except Chris, doesn't anyone else want to fit a title to his image? Images with titles will appear in the search form.

For titles or a comment just PM me and I will short it out.

SPOILER WARNING
We have an entry named "eye_macro.jpg". Owner can PM me so to link his username to it

I didn't think we were titling these. How should attach a title at this point?

I was under the impression that for any of your images you can create a .txt file and make any comments you wanted along with a title. Then again, that was just the impression I was under.

Jeremy correct, but people never follow rules so I've made the process less painful by just PM'n me. No offense to anyone.

I see. I noted in the original post that started Round 12 said that a title was included, but then Jeremy posted saying the upload form was "Username_Macro" so I went with the newest instructions.

PM forthcoming. Thanks for the info Jeremy and Steve.

Can I get a bonus point for having followed the rules (I need all the help I can get). :)

Chris

I'm guessing the contest will be live in the morning in case you want to spend some of your Thanksgiving voting. I'm curious to see what everyone submits for this 'different' type of contest.

Let me be the first to say... really great photos this round!

Chad

I completely agree. The creativity and range of subjects for this round were very impressive (especially after such little discussion).

Overall, whereas I normally give an average vote of 4-6 (average being 5) my votes this time through were right in the 6-8 range. I think most people have embraced great creativity and given new ways of looking at objects. I'm extremely impressed by the job everyone has done on this round. Great looking photographs.

Indeed great photos!

Jeremy (or Steve); not trying to be picky, but I think it might help the contest's popularity if one (or both) of you could include the http://www.stffilms.com/dvxuser_photo_contest/ link into your signature.

It's actually quite hard to find that site; and it oddly enough isn't even mentioned in the instructions.
I recall once that Mikko was kind enough to include the link in his signature, which was the only way to find the site, except for asking that very question in the thread (which again was done at least two times here).

Make it accessible, and there might be more entries!

To quote from HHGTTG:

"It was on display in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying 'Beware of the Leopard'"

:)

And now please tell me who wouldn't want to own this baby:

Thank you.
