Vegas 7 + DVD for $250

[Thomas J. O'Hara]

so I bought the vegas 6 CD a couple months ago for a special price of $99.

Then about a month later I get an email saying I can upgrade to vegas 7 + DVD for only $150.

So I just got it today and was looking through the catalog they send with it, and I saw how much they are asking for it without upgrading or anything...$525

Then I realized how much my deal kicks a$$

anyone else get this same deal?

it's rocking my world!

anyone discover any new cool plugins recently?
I bought the velvetmatter light effects - they are great for titles - much better looking than the stock vegas light rays.

I suspect most people got in on the same deal- most everyone is quoting the price at around $250.

It's really the only reason I got Vegas- had it been >$500 I would have probably opted for Edius Pro, given it's better real-time abilities. I'm not disappointed of course; it's been great to get to know the power available in Vegas. I haven't begun to master it yet - I learn more every time.

Now I just need to win a lottery, and quit my job so I have more time to use it... ;o) Best of luck,
