Wow these things are annoying, BIG time. So I have a widescreen TV and I'd like to watch my movies in widescreen. I open the DVD case and BAM! I get the ugly sight of those stupid double sided DVD's
These things give me such a headache. Not only because they're more likely to get scratched, and I'll prolly have to get up and "FLIP" the DVD to see the extras, but because I have to squint just to read which side is which.
SIDE A, Full Screen
SIDE B (flipside) Widescreen
Ok so does that mean the side that I want to watch (widescreen) is cut into the flipside? (we'll call it the backside) So then I should put that side down so my laser reads it? Which would basically mean, I don't flip the DVD. Or I should flip my DVD so the backside is up and my side A is down? Which means it's cut into the side that says side A only because they assume that I know, that the side that's placed faceup isn't the side that's being read. And by "they" I mean those cheep bastards that can't just make a two disc set or just cut out fullscreen all together.
What's the deal?
