Scratch on my lens, how much to repair?

I've had a lens cover over my lens since the first few days of my DVX. I guess it was scratched in those days (though I didn't even touch the camera until I got a cover).
How much would it cost me to replace this lens?
Is there any way it would be covered under warranty?
