Stupid frakin' Ford Cars

Dang, I don't have a plane! So that's what I forgot.

Kevin - that sounds like a nice car.

Anhar - just changed my avatar to spread a little joy during this holiday season.
You are more than welcome to hijack a thread of mine, anytime. I'm trying to
get a good grip of your syntax so I can use your voice someday in a script of mine.

@ChuckS,a plane woah!, More props for indie work hehe :)

my syntax?! thats cool I guess, well being quad-lingual and also occasionally being lazy or tired messes up and plays havock with the proper english Grammer. Wicked, I really like to read that script if you finish it.

it's running on 7 cyclinders. Same problem as before.

Stupid car has been in shop way too often. We just bought this car.
Cosmetically it looks great. It's a '98. Stupid frackin' car however has
its problems.

I'm really starting to dislike Ford products.

Charli

I know the feeling. I love my 2002 Ford Explorer for the room and all that it can do, but mechanically it is a POS. I just had my transmission replaced with only 82,000 miles on the car. I've treated the car very well, and it slapped me in the face. I could only afford a used replacement transmisssion with 40k miles on it, so we'll see what happens. I've always owned American cars, but I'm tired of getting burned. Next time it's Toyota Sequoia or Nissan Pathfinder!

It's funny how every has told me: "Yep, that's Ford for you, bad transmission design. What were you thinkin'?" However when I did my research on the web in 2001, all I found on the usenet and websites were positive reviews about those model Ford vehicles. The Firestone tire insanity was just a dumb case of finger-pointing, so I wan't worried about that. Sometiem you have to learn the hard way.

F U Ford!

These cars are great for about a month or when your twenty something and your trying to compensate for something. I'm old and my wife couldn't care less about the size of that special something so

Every where you drive some peckerhaed with a Camaro wants to race, cars just kind of gather around you on the freeway to look [sometimes that's not so bad depending on who's doing the looking, but most often it's not that good], and good luck parking it where the attendent doesn't want to try to find out if it will really do 180MPH.

somehow, I don't understand getting worked up over a product that you didn't actually design or build, yourself...

...unles you *do* design and build 'em, in which case I understand entirely.

No criticism implied, of anybody.

Hey a reall Ford fan.

I've got nothing agianst them I just thought I would add to the list of acronyms...:)

Well, Mustang fan... :) And the old GT40 / the new Ford GT... that's about the only Fords I'd own... OK, maybe a 1967 Cobra 427 S/C side oiler... :D

How bout a Probe?

I had a Probe, once.

Actually, a very good car. Inexpensive, ran up over 150k miles, never had to spend much on service.

Yeah, I was actually kidding. The joke being if you could actually AFFORD a Ferrari, I would imagine that the price of gas would be your last concern...

Yeah, Probes are OK. I had a friend who had one and he loved it. Personally, if a car has less than 8 cylinders, I usually don't want it... :)

Yeah, I remember it being built on a Mazda platform.

If you got *two* Probes, you'd have eight cylinders...my very first car was a 1971 Pontiac Grand Prix...eight cylinders for sure, there. My high-school girlfriend called it 'the beige whale...'

Well, more like Ford powered by Mazda...

I'm sure I could somehow manage to cram a 5.0 engine into a Probe if I had the time and desire... but I'll bet the Probe gets great gas milage, so there's really no point... :)

A 71 Grand Prix is a nice ride...
