Just bought "ICHI the KILLER"

LOL. Prepare yourself.

That movie is crazy freaky and you'll know from the very beginning. I dunno what kinda Saki they were sipping on when they made it.

:thumbup::thumbup:

I tried to get my exGF to watch this, she didn't make it past the first 5 minutes. Kakihara is such a great "villian". I think my favourite part about the movie is the uneasy feeling I get while watching it, it is like being part of the movie. While S&M is part of the movie, so is the viewing experience. The black/dark humour is a delite. Enjoy.

I unintentionally purchased the I guess "R" rated version of this film. Wow, without the over excessive violence and depravity the movie loses all of what makes it awesome. Guess I need to get the director's cut???
I'm trying to give away this version, but whenever anyone asks me what it's about... usually people pass on it.

Any movie that has a part where a guy tries to pull off someones arm just to see if it's possible is definitely a movie to see. I just recommend that when viewed, don't try to enjoy any snacking items, you may end up ill-ish.

Just finished it, superb!
Great way for me to round up Horrorfest. Suprised at how commercial it was compaired to Audition. Loved every second.

It's based on a Japanese manga comic if I'm not mistaken, either that or the manga was based on the movie. But yeah, if you guys thought "Ichi" was weird, try watching some of the darker animes like "Boogiepop Phantom" or the "Tomie" films, that's some weird stuff.

Of course, I dislike these kinds of films as they seem like they would have been much better films but were tarnished simply because the filmmakers intentionally want the story to be weird and thought provoking, that's like smearing mud on the Mona Lisa because you want people to see the fallacies within mankind. Yet this technique worked very well for "The Audition".

thats different though.

Oldboy is a greater piece of art... takashi films are just bizarre and twisted fun.

The part with his cheeks made me cringe.....
I am being vague in case anyone hasnt seen the flick.......

I have an extremely strong stomach...and it hardly ever bothers me to watch anything on film. It did however bother me....

My g/f never made it ANYWHERE near that part of the film....ha ha :)
