I posted yesterday about how someone stole my credit but i wanted to start a new thread for this.

The poster is on that myspace. I was undoubtedly the Director of Photography, but since the director and i had a falling out, he is attempting to take that credit. He credited me as a production designer but that is completely rediculous and i am sure the only reason he put that is because he felt guilty about taking my credit.

Please post a comment calling him on it. I did really great work on the film and it will be hard for me to use it in my demo if he takes the credit.

I dont know if this is an unethical post or not, if it is please remove it ASAP. I just thought that the power of the DVX user community could help me out on this. I dont want people to say anything mean, just to call him on it and hopefully that will make him change it.

I have no doubt that you were screwed on this project, but asking people to intervene on your behalf is difficult. You need to provide a bit of proof that people can site. Perhaps you should build a small web page that has images of you DPing this project and any other supporting evidence that you might have access to.

I would still recommend that you work with IMDB to get it corrected, but they too are going to need some proof from you.

Best of luck in getting this solved.

I checked that title on IMDB and the only thing it came up with was a 1932 moviewhose alternative title was The Man I Killed. So I went back to the page you linked and looked around. The movie you are... concerned with is a 1minute 40second short I guess? Frankly I would forget about it but... One thing you could do is a mini-doc using your pictures and interview type video from some of the cast and crew, call it "I Shot The Man I Killed" and start sending that to some festivals, especially the ones he is sending his movie to. Just my nickel.
