what's wrong with itunes - no TV shows

hmm, weird. yeah, on the left side (not the control pane but the actual store), under "itunes store" where there are links for music, audiobooks, podcasts, games, pixar shorts....... then there are usually "TV shows" and "movies". But those two links don't show up. I tried getting into them another way, by searching for specific shows, but when the search results come up, they again only show results for those 5 categories. So bizarre. Now I'm pissed that it works for everybody else. That means apple is conspiring against me.

whoa, just figured out the possible cause. my itunes player, for some completely bizarre reason, is displaying in a different monetary system. Everything is in Franks(?) -- Fr.

Know how to get it back to american?

Same thing happened to me this morning. On the first page of the iTunes store, scroll down to the bottom. There should be a drop down menu to go back to the US store. Mine was Swedish for some reason.

I think iTunes has been updated on as of yesterday. Check your Software Updater for new version.

Yeah, happened to me too. It opened the French store at start-up last night....and the Canadian store this morning. Weird.

Actually, what's wrong with iTunes is DRM... :) That's really a shame too, because I would gladly pay to download a single episode of a favorite show I forgot to tape if it wasn't for the DRM. As it stands, I'd rather just miss it...

what really pisses me off about itunes is that whenever I download a stupid update of theirs that I only download because they remind me every freaking five minutes, i have to "re sign-in" and then it thinks my computer is a "new" computer. So now I've authorized 4 of a possible 5 computers for my itunes library, 3 of which are THIS COMPUTER! Two more and it won't allow me to access my music anymore. AWESOME!

I'm sorry. But Apple sucks.

There's a way to deauthorize computers, so you're not going to lose access to your stuff.

Truth be told I'd rather we live in a DRM-free world, but I don't see it going away anytime soon, and in my opinon Apple's DRM scheme is fairly generous, so I play ball with them. Though I completely support anyone's right to not buy DRM'ed media.
