Indie Snap! HD Matte Box Reveiw

Hey everyone

Just ordered mine..wonder how long it will take for delivery to Australia??

HVX202..but i didnt get the option to specify my camera is that normal??

Im also looking at the Zacuto Base Plate Kit, will that be OK with the HD Mattebox.??

And which one is more suited? for TVC work??

I'd recommend you looking into the Bebop Zoe, personally. I have the Zoe and the Foxi follow focus zoom and love them (I have no relationship, financial or otherwise to Bebop--just my recommendation). There's some old threads discussing the two (Varizoom versus Bebop).

Here's Bebop's website. I think Zacuto sells their stuff, as well as Abel, etc.

As for the base plate, I tested it and it works with the HD Mattebox. You just have to be sure to adjust it to sit under the flanges (via screws on the baseplate). It actually is quite a good companion to dakotapod's mattebox as it allows it to sit on the ground or table without stressing it.
