convert pal into ntsc format on fcp

Correct me if Im wrong but doesn't compressor already have the functionality to convert between PAL and NTSC? Why the external plug-ins?

Yeah it does, and the quality is pretty good. For really good quality it takes forever to render though (and I mean forever .... something like 2 hours for 20 seconds of video ...). Nattress plugs offer pretty good quality within FCP, if you don't want to switch between programs. I wouldn't consider Cleaner an option, from my experience (6.0) it cant convert and what it can do, it doesn't do to well either ...
