Lossless transfer to Premiere

I have AE7 and PP2, im wonder what the best way or the best compression to export a clip from AE7 and get it into PP2 without a color change or any other type of loss. Right now, after i finish an effect I export the clip to an AVI. and then import to PP2....but the transition has adverse effects on the clip most of the time. Lots of ghosting after the clip has been exported and then once it is in PP2 you have to render the clip.....

Does AE have an export that is exactly like a DV capture in PP2???

Thx

Does this occur with every project that you bring back into PPro from AE? This seems a bit odd, I haven't seen this myself.

use adobe dynamic link if you have the production suite, if not just go raw with the apropriate frame rate. Its important to note if you shot 24PA in AE you need to "guess 24PA pulldown" in the conform to framerate option and export your avi as 23.976 when saving the avi.

I was having this problem...

Make sure that when you export out of premiere... you use the "Microsoft AVI" and not MS DV AVI. The Microsoft AVI will allow you to choose "no compression"

I have also noticed that (for some reason)..there is like a 2 pixel to the left shift when you need to overlay stuff coming from AE to premiere. So I have to shift my stuff over 2 pixels to the right...don't know why....but just a tip
