Demo Video of my digital squibs! Proof of concept

Hello hello, new guy here.
Just wanted to show off a quick test shot I did using the muzzle flash footage from DETfilms as 'digital' squibs.
I shot this on a single chip camera that I had at the time so it's not the greatest DOP work.
Short, simple and it (IMO) proves that it can be done well.

Enjoy. I know it's not perfect, but I like it.

not bad at all .. if i hadnnt known, i wouldnt be able to tell those were digital overlays (Except for maybe the somewhat strange angles some of them fire off at.. but that could be done w/ real squibs too)

They look really good, the only problem I see is there are no damage holes, chips and such. Should be fairly easy to do in after effects.

They look very good, only a little bit too "clean". Anyway, I wouldn't like to be around that fence even if that stuff is digital :)

Looks like pieces of chalk....If it's all digital, I applaud you..I too am missing the bullet holes...

Obviously it's no substitute for the real deal...but it costs absolutely nothing, it's not hard to do and it can be handy in either filling out the background of an action/war scene or even in the forground to just add an extra oomf to a shot.
