Hey Everybody --

I've very nearly wrapped photography on my short (two reshoots to pick up next week) and am now turning to the soundtrack, which we'd like to have in place during editing. I'm looking for low cost or free jazz to lay over the film. This is a zero budget kind of film (probably spent less than $1000 out of pocket) and would like to keep it there if possible.

I've met a few composers here in NYC and will be seeking demos from them, but I was hoping we might find existing music to use if it fits the tone of the film. At this point I'll take any recommendations you have for composers or musicians so long as they're instrumental, preferrably jazz.

Thanks!

hey. i play guitar. i could put together a few blues/jazz pieces tomorrow if your interested. i don't have a great recording setup at the moment. the mic picks up a bit of white noise. but it'd be free, i'd only ask for credit and a copy of the final product if you used it.

just give me a mood or style or theme and a time limit.
by the way, I'm in australia :)
