24p settings in FCP please assist

I would like to make sure that these FCP settings are correct. I've shot 24p on the DVX100A.

-In User Preferences, Timeline Options, I have Drop Frame checked (should it be unchecked?).
-In Audio/Video Settings, both Sequence Preset and Capture Preset are DV NTSC 48 kHz (should it be DV NTSC 48 kHz- 23.98?).
-The Editing timebase is 29.97 (should it be 23.98?).
-The Device Control Preset is FireWire NTSC (should it be FireWire NTSC NDF?).

I just want to make sure that I have everything correct to work with 24p. I've read different things about how to set up the timeline frame rate and the drop/non-drop issue and am quite confused. Thanks.

If it's just 24P normal, then you edit just like any other footage, and you're setup is just like any other footage. If it's 24PA, that's when you need to add the pulldown removal, and edit in a 23.98 timeline.

Just go to the FCP menu> easy setup (show all)> DV NTSC> set up. Done.
