Best DVX backpack-style bag that holds laptop?

You mean integrated wheels and a built-in handle that collapses down in the bag itself? Yeah, that would be the ultimate. However the rigid frame that would be added for the handle would really reduce the comfort factor!

can we see some pics of the cam in the bag?
OK. In the next week or so the bag will be filling up with gear I'm buying.

The bag is now quite full with gear. In the main compartment I've got a Baby Ball Gag behind the other "MIC" pad, a Varizoom LED light with Pannie battery adaptor, a shoe extender, 26 blank tapes (14 in the pockets inside the flap), Rode SM3 shockmount, Sony MDR-7506 headphones and a roll of gaffers tape. I've think I've still got room for my Oktava MK012 mic in the thin full-width compartment 2nd from the left in the above pic which is currently empty.

In the side pockets I've got spare batteries and charger. In the "laptop" pocket I've got Warm Cards and Cinetactics screen hoodie.

In the tripod hold I have my Steady Stick. The belt is attached to the upper carry handle of the bag because I have added tac squad pouches to carry 4 tapes, log book, pen, etc.

It isn't quite full -- close though. If I needed more room I could leave some tape behind -- one compartment is mostly filled with three 5-pack boxes of tape plus the mic shockmount. Remove that tape and move the shockmount to share the space with the headphones and I've got one empty compartment!

I'm amazed at how much I could pack into this bag. Nothing seems to move around, and with all the padded dividers nothing can move far or connect with the more delicate items.

So, after reading this thread I decided to buy one fo the bags. Arrived the other day and I promptly filled it with all my stuff. I think it's pretty good, but I do feel that the bag could have been just a teey bit bigger so that it would hold the on board shock mount better. On another note, dont buy this cam if you ahve a z1. it doesnt fit.
