hi there,
im a new premiere pro user and have been playing around with it recently. I have noticed that when exporting their are a few options. I have understood that the .AVI is the standard preset to use when exporting. But there are also other options including DV .AVI and .MOV for quicktime. I tried exporting a small clip and seeing which was the best quality. The .MOV file was by far the largest file and best quality. Should i be using the .MOV when i export my raw uncompressed files at the end for best quality? is it better than the .AVI or DV .AVI ? the .MOV file was definately the largest in file size, does this mean it would be best to use this to export a raw file for the highest quality? im on a PC aswell by the way, not a mac. does this matter?
any helps appreciated, im a bit lost.
